BASIS & TECHLIB

.
.
.

The BASIS Intranet Solution is an ideal system for managing large collections of information such as word processing documents, spreadsheets, PDF, XML or HTML files. The system is not limited to any specific type of file but is open and can accomodate any data you throw at it !

.

TECHLIB is a fully-featured library management system based on the BASIS data repository.

The technology is based on a relational database engine designed from the ground up to accomodate both structural information such as numbers, dates, short text, as well as full texts and documents. This architecture results in a system with superior security, reliability and performance when compared to similar systems created from the integration of different technologies.

Check white papers at Open Text for more information about how to implement Document Management, Content Management, Archives Management, Imaging and Bibliographic systems with this technology.
